Drug Forums is a great resource as they talk about a number of issues and topics with all sorts of drugs, not just Ecstasy. In this FAQ you can find answers to questions like, “What’s a recommended dosage?”, “Can you really overdose on MDMA?”, “What are the risk?”, “How to handle a OD/adverse effects”, etc.

► Pillreports
“Pill reports is a global database of “Ecstasy” pills based on both subjective user reports and scientific analysis.” Great in that it also provides user reviews of pills, many of which detail symptoms/side effects and their experiences with the pill as a whole.

More scientific that pill reports, they offer the results from lab test done on ecstasy pills from the street sent in by people like you or otherwise attained. They provide a date for when the testing is done as well as location which can be somewhat helpful in identifying your own pills. Pill quality can vary batch to batch, region to region so this information is probably the closest you’ll get to knowing if your pill does in fact contain MDMA or other substances without a testing kit. Though you can always send in a pill for $40 USD Pictures of pills are also provided when available but pills can often look a like but still contain largely different chemicals.

► Drug Forums Thread - Experiences on Ecstasy
Exactly what the title says, this thread contains stories of people’s first or “best” rolls. If you’re looking for an idea of what it’d like to roll, want to hear about bad pills, want to laugh at someone, this is the place to do it. Be aware that Drug Forums avoids using pronouns (he, she, I , me , we) to avoid incrimination so you’ll see a lot of abbreviations or creative names like, “my pet fish”.

► Ez Testing kits
These are home testing kits! They sell for anywhere between $19-60USD but can be worth it since going by logo, colour and shape alone isn’t enough to always be safe . Simply these test tell you if your pills have MDMA in them, but not how much. They can also tell you if your pills have meth or other drugs but still, not how much. If your pill is mixed, it gets harder to get a clear result, and a results can be masked so these testing kits are not 100% full proof evidence that you have pure MDMA. Read the site thoroughly so you have some idea of what you’re getting and how to use it if you plan on buying. (They also have a detailed FAQ and other drug testing kits, ex; cocaine)

► Drug forums - Preloading and Postloading with MDMA
Preloading and postloading are ways to help ease the side effects of MDMA. There are products like Raveaid, basically a vitamin cocktail that follow the idea that preloading/postloading help with the “hangover” from MDMA. Before buying a product like Raveaid it’s important to know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, and this thread explains a bit of the science behind the concept and users have even put up some of their routines/diet plans.

Due to MDMA/Ecstasy’s connection with the rave scene (and the number of questions we get on this topic) we felt this needed to be an important part of our page. In our opinion, if you have decided to roll for the first time it is better to do it somewhere safe, with low (sufficient) dosages. Dropping a pill or taking Molly for the first time at a rave can endanger both you and the scene. If you overshoot or something goes wrong it (once again) tarnishes the image of the rave scene. Know your limits before the party, don’t test them at the rave only to get it shut down and ruin it for your fellow ravers. If you can’t rave sober, you shouldn’t rave. If the music and the scene just isn’t fun without rolling, we ask you think about that and really look at what’s going on. It’s your choice in the end, but it’s something to consider.
